This is the second pandemic the Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus has survived, and we’re rising out of the proverbial ashes with a fiery soul for singing! Proliferating choral art through the creation of new music is very much a part of the life of the chorus. “When I Rise” is filled with new commissions from amazing composers such as Steve Milloy, Timothy Takach, Jake Runestad and our very own Dr. Gerald Gurss. Additionally, we are commissioning a new work from Alan Shorter to honor the life of former singer, Chris Mellin. We look forward to presenting these to you in the stunning sanctuary at Westwood Lutheran Church in St. Louis Park. To purchase tickets, please visit tcgmc.org.
