WHAT: Runway for Hope Fashion Show, Produced by Grant Whittaker Creative
Hope Chest for Breast Cancer Foundation, a Minnesota-based nonprofit dedicated to providing immediate financial assistance to patients undergoing breast cancer treatments is excited to announce the fourth annual Runway for Hope Spring Fashion Show happening May 7th. The fashionable philanthropic event includes a curated fashion show produced and styled by Grant Whittaker Creative in partnership with Galleria featuring spring and summer fashions from Galleria stores. The event will also include brunch bites, sparkling wine, a surprise raffle, and live auction. Funds raised will provide emergency financial assistance to MN breast cancer patients.
“Our goal at Hope Chest is to help assure that all women and men in our community know that they don’t need to make the choice between continuing their care, paying for medicine, or paying for groceries. We are here to remove the financial barriers they may face for getting the required treatment,” says Callie Briese, Board Chair of the Hope Chest Foundation.
The money raised through the Runway for Hope fashion event directly supports those Minnesota breast cancer patients actively undergoing treatment. Patients fill out an online application that helps Hope Chest understand the scale and areas of need like rent or mortgage, utilities, child care, nutrition or transportation to treatment. Hope Chest then issues payment directly to patients’ creditors.
