Kristi Belcamino is a USA Today bestselling crime fiction author, chess fanatic, and coffee addict who also makes a tasty biscotti. In her former life as a newspaper crime reporter, she flew over Big Sur with the Blue Angels, raced a Dodge Viper at Laguna Seca raceway, and attended barbecues at the morgue.
Jess Lourey fosters kittens and writes about secrets. She’s been twice nominated for the Edgar Award, twice shortlisted for the Goodreads Choice Award, and won the Anthony, International Thriller Writers, and Minnesota Book Awards. She’s surpassed over a million readers since 2020.
Serial awards-botherer, Catriona McPherson (she/her) was born in Scotland and immigrated to the US in 2010. She writes: preposterous 1930s private-detective stories, including September 2024’s THE WITCHING HOUR; realistic 1940s amateur-sleuth stories about a medical social worker; and contemporary psychological standalones. These are all set in Scotland with a lot of Scottish weather. She also writes modern comedies about a Scot out of water in a “fictional” college town in Northern California. She is a proud lifetime member and former national president of Sisters in Crime.
Joshua Moehling is the author of the Ben Packard series. The first book, AND THERE HE KEPT HER, was a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Best LGBTQ+ Mystery. His second novel, WHERE THE DEAD SLEEP, was also a Lamba finalist and described as “a well-paced whodunit” and “devastating” by The New York Times. Joshua lives in Minneapolis and works in the medical device industry.
Wendy Webb is the award-winning, worldwide bestselling author of nine novels of gothic suspense. Wendy’s books have been translated into 16 languages and are optioned for film and TV. Her first book, The Tale of Halcyon Crane, won the Minnesota Book Award and was shortlisted for the Prix des Lettres in France. Wendy lives in south Minneapolis and when she’s not at Sea Salt raving about their new sandwiches, she can be found walking her dogs on the parkway. She’s at work on her next book.
