Lumberjack Mile & 5K

United Way’s annual Lumberjack Mile & 5K returns on its scenic riverside route! Taking place during Grand Rapids Riverfest, participants are invited to dress up in their lumberjack best and run, walk, or jog for a good cause. Runners of all ages and skill levels are welcome – whether you’re chasing your personal best or out for a scenic stroll, you’ll have a great time wearing flannel, getting active, and playing lumberjack games at the finish line!

Register online at uwlakes.org/lumberjack. Virtual and in-person options are available. All runners will receive a race packet, which includes a limited-edition, collectible T-shirt designed by a northern Minnesota artist.

Check-in starts at 8 am on Saturday, September 10th at the KAXE Amphitheatre (260 NE 2nd St), with the run beginning at 9 am.
