A Cure In Sight™ sponsors multiple 5K Run/Walks throughout the year as one of their most popular fundraising events!
Lookin’ For A Cure 5K’s are held in various cities in the United States. Each event helps raise awareness of Ocular Melanoma in the community in which it is held, while also bringing Ocular Melanoma patients together. A Cure In Sight teams with research facilities and physicians who treat Ocular Melanoma and splits the net proceeds to help fund ongoing research projects and patient support programs.
We’re Lookin’ For a Cure at scenic BDE MAKA SKA PARK, Thomas Beach! Join A Cure in Sight on Saturday June 8th, 8AM-10:30AM, to walk or run with us. We will be taking steps to find a cure for a rare eye cancer, ocular melanoma. Ocular Melanoma is estimated by the American Cancer Society to have roughly 3000 new cases each year nationwide. Bring your friends and family to the race day–all ages welcome to walk or run with us.
