Law Day 5K

On April 30, 2023, Legal Aid Service of NE MN (LASNEM) will be hosting our second annual Law Day 5K in Duluth, MN as a fundraising event to support the critical work of LASNEM. This event is family-friendly 5K run/walk that participants can attend in-person or virtually. The 5K will begin and end at the Duluth East High School parking lot. The 5K course follows the Lakewalk and returns to Duluth East for post-race gathering, refreshments and tours of LASNEM’s Justice Bus!

LASNEM is a non-profit law firm and provides free civil legal services to thousands of economically vulnerable people who cannot otherwise afford it. LASNEM serves 11 counties (Aitkin, Carlton, Cass, Cook, Crow Wing, Itasca, Kanabec, Koochiching, Lake, Pine and St. Louis) in civil legal matters that impact people’s security, safety, stability and basic needs. We help families defend unlawful evictions, a domestic abuse survivor file for an Order for Protection, a senior protect their income from debt collectors, and much more.
