#FreeTheGrowler Day

Celebrate #FreeTheGrowler Day at the Fulton, Indeed and Surly taprooms with games, beer specials, live music and some surprises along the way. Come show your support for #FreeTheGrowler legislation that would allow ALL MN breweries to sell growlers!

Minnesota law currently restricts breweries that produce more than 20,000 barrels of beer in a year from selling growlers and crowlers. Five Minnesota breweries are currently not allowed to sell growlers, but as Minnesota’s craft beer industry continues to grow, more will soon reach that mark. Growlers are an important part of the craft beer experience, and they are how we innovate new beers for you. Local breweries shouldn’t have to choose between growing and growlers.
