With no lesbian bars in Minnesota, the queer soccer bar Black Hart is introducing a quarterly cabaret to intentionally create more spaces for queer women. Aptly named “Two Dykes Walk into a Bar,” the first performance is Friday, September 29th.
Produced by Queenie von Curves, a long-standing star of the Twin Cities burlesque scene, and Dick Von Dyke, a drag king, “Two Dykes Walk into a Bar” celebrates all things dyke with queer performances, fun interactive half time game entertainment, and a corner of queer artisans and organizations to peruse.
Special guests include Andre 1000, Borinquena Bonita, Hellne Heaven, The Lady Wolf and Stella Rosa.
