In French, a “concours d’elegance” means “competition of elegance.”
Minnesota’s own 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance was held on the shores of Lake Minnetonka from 2013 through 2019, thanks to the owners of hundreds of historically significant and extraordinary automobiles, as well as a slew of volunteers, the event was a can’t-miss experience.
Following a few years of detours, we are thrilled to announce the return of the 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on the expansive, grassy infield of Canterbury Park (1100 Canterbury Road, Shakopee, Minnesota).
Mark your calendars for a chance to spend a leisurely afternoon wandering the infield, meeting the owners of more than 125 examples of automobiles from across automotive history, and discover the intriguing stories behind the museum-quality vehicles. Also on display will be a collection of historically significant tractors and farm equipment and motorcycles..
Guests will also enjoy live music, dine on delicious foods, and sip fine wines, beers, and spirits, while exploring the collection.
The proceeds will benefit the patients and families at Gillette Children’s, a pediatric specialty care provider focused on diagnosing and treating complex brain, bone, and movement conditions in children.
Tickets are $25 per person, children 16 and under, as well as active or retired military members, will receive free admission.
