$25 – $60Kendama (けん玉) is a skill toy originally from Japan that has grown in popularity globally over the last decade. Each year Sweets Kendamas hosts the North American Kendama Open (NAKO) right here in Minneapolis. Formally the Minnesota Kendama Open (MKO) NAKO has grown to be the largest annual kendama event outside of Japan.
We are so excited to be back in person this September after 2 years of hosting our event online. There will be vendors, workshops, video premiers, and more all weekend long.
This is an all-ages event open to players of all skill levels.
If you have never played before we’ll teach you everything you need to know to start your kendama journey!
