Can Can Wonderland’s Youth + All Ages PRIDE Celebration

Can Can Wonderland hosts an all-ages, family friendly, youth-focused PRIDE celebration for LGBTQ+ identifiers , and allies. The day-long event will feature queer-focused activities and entertainment specifically geared for young people’s enjoyment in a highly creative and inclusive safe environment. Can Can’s Arcade, artist-designed 18-hole mini-golf course, along with great food and beverage options will all be available to all guests. (regular fees for unlimited arcade entrance and mini golf apply.)
EVENT SCHEDULE:
11 a.m.: Event starts
Noon: A whimsical Pride Parade– bring your favorite hat, flag, streamers, kazoo, etc for this walking parade around the arcade and boardwalk of Can Can Wonderland.
Ongoing / all day art activity – create an art square to be put up on the wall as part of the Can Can Pride Mosaic
1:30-2:00, 2:30-3:00, and 3:30-4:00 Drag Queen Storybook Reading on the Coral Reef Spotlight Stage. Three different Drag Queens reading a selection of children’s books curated for LGBTQ+ audiences.
2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Giant photo frames and wall for sticky notes about what youth want in their queer spaces, led by QUEERSPACE collective, which creates space for LGBTQ+ youth to feel safe and empowered to be their true selves.
5 p.m. Silly Miss Tilly balloons
5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Rainbow Kids Circus (All Ages Performances by Queer Circus)
6 p.m. Parade Around the Arcade led by Rainbow Kids Circus
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Karaoke with Silly Miss Tilly
Note – 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. is 21+
