MN Pocket Pet Rescue works with 11 species of pocket pets: chinchillas, degus, ferrets, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, mice, rabbits, rats, and sugar gliders.
They are a foster-based rescue focusing on 1. providing education about the care and keeping of pocket pets and 2. serving as a resource for the community to take in, rehabilitate, and carefully rehome pocket pets in need. Their goal is to ensure all pocket pets receive proper veterinary care, training, housing, feeding, enrichment, social requirements, and overall safety and happiness; whether in our rescue or with their families.
