Climbing Mt. Everest might not be possible for everyone. However, trekking to its base camp is still an epic adventure that is achievable for anyone with normal health and physique. The Everest Base Camp Trek is a challenging trek that provides some EPIC views of the highest peaks in the world, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cho Oyu and many more surrounding peaks. Moreover, you get to experience the unique traditions, cultures, lifestyles, and rituals of the Sherpa people firsthand while following the popular mountaineering routes.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel (1,400m)

Day 02: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,800m) and trek to Phakding (2,650m) 3-4 hrs trek

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazar (3,440m) – 6 hrs trek

Day 04: Acclimatization day

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3,870m) – 6 hrs trek

Day 06: Trek to Dingboche (4,400m) – 6 hrs trek

Day 07: Another acclimatization day

Day 08: Trek to Lobuche (4,900m) – 5 hrs trek

Day 09: Trek to Gorakshep and visit Everest Base Camp (5463m) 8-9 hrs trek

Day 10: Hike up to Kalapather and trek to Pheriche (4,320m) – 7-8 hrs trek

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazar (3,440m) – 6-7 hrs trek

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,800m) – 6-7 hrs trek

Day 13: Fly back to Kathmandu

Day 14: Departure from Nepal

Price Inclusions:

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off by private vehicles.
  • Round airfares. Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu
  • 2 nights of standard hotel accommodations in Kathmandu city inclusive breakfast.
  • 11 nights twin sharing accommodation in local teahouses during the trek
  • Every day full board meals during the trek: breakfast, lunch, dinner.
  • Government certified English speaking trekking guide for the trek.
  • Company duffle bags and sleeping bags to use while on the trek. (if needed)
  • An assistant trekking guide for groups over 10 people.
  • Helicopter rescue in case of any health issues while on the trek. (You should have travel insurances in this case)
  • A first aid kit carried by the guide with an oximeter for the trek.
  • All the essential trekking permits for the trek.
  • Trip achievement certificate after the trek.
  • Farewell dinner in Kathmandu after the trek.
