Brew Love is a craft beverage tasting festival that features 35 of MN’s breweries, cideries and distilleries pouring their best! food is included with tickets, plus live music, games, and more.

Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest is once again hosting their annual Brew Love event at Target Field on July 18th, 2024! Try unlimited samples of beer, cider, and spirits from 35 of Minnesota’s best craft beverage producers. Enjoy food from some of Target Field’s most popular vendors, including Hot Indian and Kramarczuk’s. Listen to live music while perusing our silent auction offerings and playing fun outdoor games! A commemorative tasting glass is also included with the purchase of a ticket. Brew Love is a fun way to spend a summer evening while supporting the work of Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHC-UM has served 5,770 families at 5 locations in 2023. All donations contribute to the support of families, as well as revenue from community events like Brew Love. All guests must be over the age of 21 and present a valid ID at check-in. Join us in having fun and supporting a great cause!

Be a lumberjack or a lumberjill for a day! Put on your flannels and join the Forest History Center for a day of old time fun, with games, activities, and more!

Here at Northwoods Logging Camp #1, kids can work the “misery whip” to saw wood, be an honorary draft horse and pull logs, try their luck with a slingshot, and much more!

There will be fun games like Prune on a Spoon races, Musical Stumps, Raisin Spitting, ‘Toss Your Cookies,’ and so much more!

Grab your friends or come with your family for a fun and lively puzzle competition with a special photo from the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society’s archive!

This competition, sponsored by Hisdahl’s, is for teams of 4 and will feature a 500-piece puzzle. Prizes will be awarded to teams who place in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. All teams get to keep their competition puzzle.

Dinner includes non-alcoholic beverages, as well as beer from Fair State Brewing Cooperative (for ages 21+). Space is limited so get tickets soon!

Learn to make the Moss Jacket by Helen’s Closet Patterns and leave with your finished coat! This cozy, versatile project is a great way to learn new skills and build confidence with sewing. A confident beginner can tackle this in an afternoon!

If you know the basics of using a sewing machine (threading the machine and bobbin, sewing a straight(ish) line), this class is right for you – no high-level skills necessary! If you have never sewn before, we may be able to accommodate you – please reach out before signing up.

All materials are provided for this class and included in the price (pattern, fabric, thread, etc). Please bring your own sewing machine, or reach out about borrowing one. The pattern will be cut out for you ahead of time to fit your measurements. 🙂

This project is suitable for all genders and will fit up to a 60″ chest and 62″ hip.

This fall season, they present “Haunted Basement: A Party to Die For,” featuring unexpected hosts, a bone-chilling 10-course Halloween-themed tasting menu, and cocktails that will leave you trembling with delight.

Known for immersive theater and psychological horror, The Haunted Basement is transforming Travail’s Basement Bar into a haunted dinner party that celebrates terror and taste. But, this is no ordinary dinner party. The evening begins with a gathering in Travail’s outdoor courtyard, setting the eerie stage for what’s to come. Once inside, guests will descend into the Basement Bar for an interactive tasting menu experience with mayhem, scares, and delights. Guests are encouraged to embrace the frightful fun – costumes are not just welcome; they’re encouraged!

This class is designed for absolute sewing beginners.
You’ll learn the basics of operating your own sewing machine by sewing an accent pillow. All fabric and materials will be provided and prepared for you (you will be emailed fabric options ahead of the class). Please bring your own pair of sharp scissors.

Skills taught include:
-threading the machine
-winding the bobbin
-replacing the needle
-straight stitch and back stitch
-seam allowances

Named for its unique format and fabulous restaurant partners, Moveable Feast is Open Arms of Minnesota’s annual fundraising gala! Hundreds of community members and business leaders gather for cocktails, live auction, games and a raffle before they are whisked away by limousine to one of 40+ restaurant partners in the Twin Cities for a delicious dinner.
The Moveable Feast is a beloved annual event for Open Arms of Minnesota. Generated funds will provide over 40,000 medically tailored meals for our critically ill clients and their loved ones.

HOW MOVEABLE FEAST WORKS
Guests will arrive at Allianz Field to mix and mingle with other gala attendees before being swept away in a limo to one of 40 Twin Cities restaurants, where they enjoy wine and a spectacular, multi-course dinner. Guests are then returned to Allianz Field in their limos.

Visit with old pals, and raise a glass to past, present and future. Join us this year for an unforgettable evening of games and prizes, bites and drinks bringing neighbors together to strengthen old friendships and build new ones, to share well-worn stories and begin new chapters.
