The Bloomington tradition continues as the Minnesota Jazz Orchestra’s chamber group featuring vocalist Courtney Burton returns to the Ives Auditorium to perform its annual New Year’s Eve concert. This all-new show pays tribute to the Gershwin brothers and their contributions to American music.
Together we will relive the Golden Age with time-honored classics such as “I’ve Got Rhythm”, “S’Wonderful”, “Love Is Here To Stay”, “I’ve Got A Crush On You”, “Summertime”, and “Just Another Rumba”. With a bit of audience participation, comic relief, and live music, you’re sure to have a memorable New Year’s Eve with the Minnesota Jazz Orchestra!
