Jawaahir and Amwaaj Live at The Rog

A free, family friendly event at the Frank Rog Amphitheatre, Jawaahir Dance Company and Amwaaj present an evening of dance and live Arab music!

Jawaahir is a Minneapolis based dance company dedicated to presenting Middle Eastern and Arab dance as a living art form and bringing the rich folkloric heritage of the Middle East to the theater stage.

Amwaaj is a Minneapolis-based ensemble performing classical, folk and modern music of the Arab world on traditional instruments. The ensemble performs in community and music festivals and educational institutions. Amwaaj also enjoys collaborating with local dance groups and offering educational presentations.
