An Evening of Circus Arts & Storytelling

May 12, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$55.00

You are invited to a love letter in motion.
This show was created by two artists who both lost brothers to suicide and sought healing and expression through circus arts.

In this breathtaking performance artists will use aerial fabrics, lyra, trapeze, fire, rope, and cyr wheels to portray the story of mental illness—its moments of deep sadness and pain, chaos, love, and defiant joy.

This show is inspired by Sherry Walling’s upcoming memoir, Touching Two Worlds and honors all who struggle with mental illness (and those that love them). Although circus is well-known to be playful and fun, as an art form, circus is a study in duality. It requires strength and flexibility. Holding on and letting go. It is beautiful and precarious, just like all poignant human stories.

Join us for an evening of horderves, cocktails, live music, and visual art.

And, be the first to hear Sherry read from her upcoming book.

Limited tickets available. VIP Dinner & Cocktails start at 6pm the show is at 7:30pm.

Ten percent (10%) of your ticket payment will go to The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Minnesota (NAMI MN), a grassroots advocacy organization that champions justice, dignity, and respect for all people affected by mental illnesses.
